3 actions to take if you want to build confidence.
take a good look at the components of your life/personality — list 3 things that you feel you “should” do but don’t actually want to be doing.
Release at least 1 of those things.
(EX: feeling pressured to babysit your sisters' kids EVERY weekend so she can go out — maybe you reduce this to bi-weekly or once a month so you have some time to yourself, too.)
make more time for PLAY, PLEASURE —
or at the very least… something that feels calm + neutral to you.
PUSHING towards the next goal/task with no connection to things that bring you joy will lead you to burn out.
Confidence + self-trust become WAY easier when you’re not always in an URGENT state of “do, do, do” and you actually tend to yourself for once.
take 1 moment per day when you would normally “hide your weird” and actually let it show.
Say the sarcastic comment.
Dance like a maniac.
Let out your excitement for something seemingly “silly”.
Make random noises (my personal favourite.)
Report back at the end of the weekend and let me know how much more FREE, OPEN, and playful you feel.
(Which... PS... are ALL qualities of… you guessed it… someone who exudes CONFIDENCE, inside + out.
